Catholic Regional College

As part of a campus upgrade, Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs needed to replace its outdated Music/Art/Drama block with a modern, multi-functional building—now known as the Sacred Heart Building. The challenge was to deliver a lighting solution that could meet both technical performance and aesthetic demands, while supporting a variety of functions across administrative and specialist areas.

Our Kleo X Range satisfies various spatial conditions in areas such as the reception office, voids, hallways, boardroom, and auditoriums. The recessed vertical to horizontal mitred L-shape, which is recessed into both walls and ceilings, creates a strong linear impact that defines the auditorium space. The recessed Kleo X range also addresses the void’s unique contour shapes, which extend from the ground floor ceiling to the high, raked ceilings on the second floor. A pair of long, suspended X78 lights perfectly illuminate both the 2F hallway and the void down to 1F, side by side. The reception’s cross-shaped design complements the timber ceilings, creating distinct zones and a sense of rhythm. By using a combination of 3000K and 4000K CCT, the lighting makes the spaces more comfortable and suitable for concentration, balancing warmth and clarity. 3000K is used in hallways, the auditorium, and breakout spaces, while 4000K is used in the classrooms, boardroom, and reception office.
