The Surf Project at Byron bay

Long known for its clean lines and unique mitre-joined shapes with high-performance output, the Kleo X range is typically used for commercial and educational solutions. This project provided a unique opportunity for us to highlight Kleo X’s adaptability for highly customised applications.

To meet the unique requirements of this project, the Kleo X105 profile was reengineered into a bedhead lighting solution. We divided the underside of the Kleo X105 into two distinct sections: one for illumination delivering high quality 3000K, CRI90+ lighting, and the second for integrated functional elements, general Purpose Outlet (GPO), USB-A and USB-C charging ports alongside a built-in light switch. This integration ensures that users benefit from both high-performance lighting and accessible power options for maximum convenience.

Additionally, we specifically designed rounded end caps to prioritise health and safety, complemented by an insert plate that smooths the top surface and conceals profile details. The Kleo X105’s robust build and exceptional rendering quality not only enhance visual comfort but also reflect mLight’s dedication to elevating user experiences through innovative and tailored lighting solutions.
